“Sherry is an excellent seamstress. I have been taking my clothes to her for almost a year now and she has altered at least 25 different items for me. From hemming to lowering waistlines and making flared jeans into skinny jeans, she does it all and she does it well. In addition to having an excellent eye for detail, she also knows what looks good. I trust her with anything I need altered. I am so excited for her to expand so she’ll have time to make a few things for me. I highly recommend her because of her topnotch workmanship and lovely personality.”

“I struggled to find an alterations place and luckily I found Sherry via Yelp. She is amazing!! I needed some of my hoodie zippers fixed but I also needed a few more customs pieces made. I’m in a wheelchair and needed my backrest completely redone and not only was she able to do it but she made it look amazing and on short notice. You can tell she does it because she loves it! “I was recently in a wedding and when I received my bridesmaid dress from the store, I tried it on at home and was devastated. It looked like I was wearing a potato sack. I searched around on Yelp and found Sateen Alterations and was impressed by the reviews, so I sent an email to Sherry and made an appointment to bring the dress in. Sherry took one look at the dress and knew exactly what to do, by the time she finished with the dress it looked fantastic on me. I received tons of compliments at the wedding on how nice my dress fit and compared to the other bridesmaid dresses, no one could tell mine had been altered, it just looked like it fit me nicely. The price was completely reasonable and Sherry was wonderful to deal with, she’s friendly, prompt with responses and really knew exactly what to do. The little shop is booming with business and its no surprise why, I will definitely use her for any future work I need and I’ve been recommending her to all of my friends and family!”

“Can’t say enough amazing things about Sateen!! To me, a tailor is someone that you search long and carefully for, and once you find them, you’re a customer for life because you trust them implicitly. It took me years to find this person, but Sherry is the one. Not only is she a warm, hilarious person to be around, she’s an absolute artist with her craft. She’s masterfully worked on countless suits and shirts of mine, and pretty much saved my best friend’s wedding by fixing ALL of the groomsman’s shirts on a total rush. She is fast, prices are perfect, communication is fantastic. I feel like I’m going to see family when I go to see Sherry. Highly recommend!!!”
