Sateen Alterations has been serving the people of Greater Vancouver through our teeny, tiny shop in North Vancouver since February 2013.

We are clothing and textile experts, and can help you solve your alteration problems no matter how big or small. We have become best known for our ability to transform your old or unused garments into new, functional pieces for your wardrobe or accessories. Hi, I’m Sherry.

I’m the owner and lead tailor at Sateen Alterations on Lonsdale. I help people feel comfortable, confident, and at home in the clothes they love — whether that means a simple hem, a careful adjustment, or rescuing a favourite piece that just doesn’t feel quite right anymore.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people through Sateen, and I truly mean it when I say you inspire me every day. I feel very lucky to do what I do.

Whether it’s everyday wear or something for a special occasion, I approach every alteration with care, attention to detail, and a friendly, relaxed touch. I look forward to getting to know you and being part of your wardrobe story for many years to come.
